What a wonderful experience! We asked for a bespoke terrarium based on a special personal woodland and Sam certainly delivered. Plants were chosen and grown, pieces of wood were treated and enveloped in mosses, rocks were weathered and one even marked specifically with a unique design. It looks exactly like we imagined and wanted. The process took some time but when it was handed to us it was ready to be self sufficient and just enjoyed! Thank you so much.
Piling in with all the other 5-star reviews because everyone at London Terrariums has been wonderful. We went to a workshop back in March that was lovely - really well facilitated with a nice balance of terrarium history and well-instructed making.
The fishbowl we made was looking dry a few months later because the cork wasn't a good seal. Contacted them and they were really generous, posted to me a perspex lid along with fresh moss.

Emma was fantastic — clearly knows her stuff. I walked in completely clueless and walked out with everything I needed and the confidence to actually use it. Built my terrarium same day. Looks incredible. Highly recommend.
I spent a lovely hour and a half in the company of Sam, who is the font of all knowledge in all things terrarium! We were taught and acquired skills and information on how to plan, build and keep alive our little world within a jar. It is set in a cosy room underneath the lovely London Terrarium shop. I highly recommend this activity for a satisfying mindful time.
Wonderful shop an amazing assortments of plants ,fantastic gift ideas & downnstairs a hidden workshop which you can book for parties staff team building events.The Staff are so helpful & full of knowledge its a must visit.
I booked a workshop for myself and my husband, as a little activity for us to get through the bleakness of January! We had a great time creating terrariums with Sam - he’s lovely and we learnt a lot about maintaining them and making more. Highly recommend these guys. Also, loved the shop! Lots of inspiration.

I bought a Dome terrarium kit as a gift and it surpassed all expectations. Everything was very nicely packed and of good quality and we look forward to putting it all together. The customer service was absolutely fantastic, with very prompt and helpful responses, particularly when helping me with the delivery. I look forward to buying from the shop again and recommend it very highly!

Shop and Studio
Our beautifully designed London Terrariums store on Bethnal Green Road in Shoreditch is our terrarium hub.
We sell readymade terrariums alongside a full DIY section supplying all the bits you need to make your own unique terrarium. We also have a full range of plants, homewares and green-fingered gifts on our ground floor. Our basement is where we plant all our terrariums by hand and host our in-person workshops.
We are the bright green store with all the plants and terrariums, you can’t miss us.
