Each workshop starts with an introduction into the history and science behind Terrariums, followed by a demo and then its up to you to get stuck in and build your own.
No experience required!

I spent a lovely hour and a half in the company of Sam, who is the font of all knowledge in all things terrarium! We were taught and acquired skills and information on how to plan, build and keep alive our little world within a jar. It is set in a cosy room underneath the lovely London Terrarium shop. I highly recommend this activity for a satisfying mindful time.
Wonderful shop an amazing assortments of plants ,fantastic gift ideas & downnstairs a hidden workshop which you can book for parties staff team building events.The Staff are so helpful & full of knowledge its a must visit.
I booked a workshop for myself and my husband, as a little activity for us to get through the bleakness of January! We had a great time creating terrariums with Sam - he’s lovely and we learnt a lot about maintaining them and making more. Highly recommend these guys. Also, loved the shop! Lots of inspiration.

About Emma
Emma Sibley founded London Terrariums in 2014. It started as a hobby born from her love of gardening and houseplants, growing the business organically over the past few years to become Londons leading terrarium retailer.
Emma is our resident terrarium expert and gardening obsessive. She has written 4 books on houseplant care with a 5th in progress. If you want to know about how to care for your plants or terrariums, Emma is the woman you need to speak to.
Shop and Studio
Our beautifully designed London Terrariums store on Bethnal Green Road in Shoreditch is our terrarium hub.
We sell readymade terrariums alongside a full DIY section supplying all the bits you need to make your own unique terrarium. We also have a full range of plants, homewares and green-fingered gifts on our ground floor. Our basement is where we plant all our terrariums by hand and host our in-person workshops.
We are the bright green store with all the plants and terrariums, you can’t miss us.
