London Terrariums is an independent, creative business based in east London, making beautiful terrariums and bespoke plantscapes. Founded in 2014 by Emma Sibley, we have organically grown as a business, sharing our love for terrariums and plants to others.

WORKSHOP COORDINATOR
Reports to: Director
Location: London Terrariums, Shoreditch, London
Salary: London Living Wage
Hours: 3 days per week, 11am – 7pm (including some evenings and weekends)
Start Date: February 2025
We’re looking for a new Workshop Coordinator—this is an exciting opportunity to join the business, make the role your own, and have fun doing it as part of a small close-knit team. Plus, you’ll get to work with a very friendly dog!
We’re looking for someone who’s excited about plants, people, and the opportunity to run creative workshops. As our Workshop Coordinator, you’ll manage everything to do with our workshops: from responding to inquiries, to leading sessions and building new business opportunities.
Responsibilities

Managing Workshops:

Respond to all workshop inquiries and manage our workshop inbox.

Coordinate bookings and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Lead hands-on terrarium-making workshops, ensuring customers have a fun and informative experience.

Building New Business:
-
Promote our workshops to individuals and businesses, and come up with creative ways to grow our customer base.

Look for new opportunities to collaborate with other businesses and companies.

Engaging with Customers:

Make everyone feel welcome and ensure that our workshops are accessible.

Build relationships with customers, making sure they leave with a smile and a love for terrariums!

Team Player:

We’re a small business and we all pitch in where needed—whether that’s helping on the shop floor or in the studio, making terrariums.

Bring your energy and creativity to the team and help us continue to grow.
About You

Must Have:
-
Experience running workshops, events, or classes (preferably something hands-on or creative).

Confidence with public speaking and leading groups.

A proactive attitude—someone who can spot new opportunities and take the initiative.

A genuine love for plants, design, and all things terrarium-related.

Friendly, approachable, and happy to chat with new people.

Ability to work independently, but also be a great team player.

Nice to Have:
-
Some experience working with corporate clients or managing business partnerships.

Creative ideas for how we can grow and develop our workshop offering.
