Do you have an physical shop?

We sure do! Please come and visit us in our Shoreditch store, you can find out how to find us here.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Absolutely, you can purchase gift vouchers here! Vouchers can be used towards any item in store, online or for a workshop. Vouchers are emailed through to you but if you would like a physical Gift Card sent out then drop us an email and we will be happy to send out.

If a product / Terrarium is out of stock when will it come back into stock?

We try to keep Terrariums as in stock as possible as well as the rest of our product but occasionally we will run out of glass etc! If a product is out of stock drop us an email and we can let you know the lead time.

If I order a Terrarium online when will it be ready to be collected / delivered?

Our smaller Terrariums are usually ready within 24 hours if not the same day if we have them in stock in store. The larger ones may be a bit longer, especially the Antique Carboy as we have to source that glass per order.

What size should I buy?

If you’re not quite sure which size is right for you, refer to our size guides. They’re located underneath the available sizes for each of our products.

Delivery, Returns & Exchange FAQ's

What is your delivery policy?

Product delivery
All products and kits will be delivered with UPS 2-3 day delivery, if you are within Central London you will also be able to select our £4.99 courier delivery and select a delivery slot. You are also able to collect from our Bethnal Green Road store.

Terrarium Delivery
Due to the fragile nature of Terrariums we can currently only deliver with London.
If you are based in London please check if you are eligible for our £4.99 emission free delivery here.
If you are not eligible but still in London, not to worry we can offer you delivery through another of our trusted couriers for between £20-£45, please drop us an email and we can send you a quote.

If using our £4.99 delivery you will be able select a delivery window from your order confirmation, for all other delivery options we will be in touch and help you to arrange a specific delivery time to suit.

Alternatively Terrariums can be collected from our Bethnal Green Road store.

Do you ship overseas?

We can ship most of our products internationally except for Terrariums and Houseplants.

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! As soon as you know you want to cancel or amend your order please let us know and we will do our best to help out.

Are Terrariums refundable?

As long as your Terrarium is in the same condition it was when you purchase it from us we will offer a refund or exchange up until 30 days after purchase.
Please note if you damage your Terrarium (shake it up) on route from collecting it we cannot offer a refund or exchange you will be required to either pay for a refurb or purchase a new one less the price of the glass.

Do you offer returns on prodducts?

Please return item to us unused and in the original packaging within 14 days of purchase and we will offer you an exchange, refund or voucher.

Workshop FAQ's

I want to attend a workshop but it is sold out, do you have a waiting list?

We don't have waiting lists as such, if we have workshop tickets become available then we will usually announce on our Instagram so definitely give us a follow!

What happens in a Terrarium Workshop?

You will learn about the history and science behind these self-sustaining ecosystems, before watching a quick demonstration where we describe the tools and plants that are on the table, before getting stuck in to make your own terrarium!

Which plants will I be using?

We use a variety of small tropical plants such as fittonia, ferns, calathea, ivy and mosses. You'll be able to use different plants based on which vessel you choose, and every terrarium always looks amazing at the end.

Can I bring a friend/partner along for company, or to share making a terrarium together?

Of course! We charge a £40 fee for plus ones as space is very limited in our studio and every seat counts. Just add the extra "Bring a Plus One" ticket to your order.

Can I change my vessel on the day?

Usually you will be able to change vessels if you wish, but this depends on what we have in stock. We'd recommend booking for your favourite vessel.

I want to bring my own vessel- is this okay?

Yes! Simply choose the "BYO Vessel" option, and as long as your vessel is up to 25cm in diameter then you're good to go.

How do I bring the terrarium home?

We'll provide you with bags and care guides for safely getting your new terrariums back home, if you'd like to bring your own tote bag that is also very welcome.

Should I arrive early?

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time of your workshop so we can begin on time.

Do I need to bring a ticket?

Your order confirmation email is your ticket, and we'll have your name on our list and will tick you off when you arrive.

I can't attend the workshop I booked! Can I get a refund?

We can offer a full refund on your ticket if you cancel no later than 24 hours after booking your ticket. After this period workshop tickets are strictly non-refundable.

If you cannot attend a workshop, we will do our best to accommodate you at another workshop, providing there is space, however cannot offer a refund. You must notify us by email or phone at least 7 days in advance of your booking to move onto another workshop.

If you find out you cannot attend within 7 days of the start of your workshop, then we are happy for you to pass your ticket on to a friend to fill your space but unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange the date of your workshop. Where possible, we will offer to send a terrarium kit in instances of short-notice cancellations.
