Introducing our Moss Wall Cylinder Terrarium. We have been experimenting using horticultural clay to build up the walls on the cylinder Terrariums and we love the result. The effect is a full forest floor planted around bark and rocky hardscaping which takes you up one side of the glass. Due to the planting of this terrarium there is a definitive front and back so this would be sited on a sideboard, shelf or desk rather than a centre piece.

To ensure you get the best view of this terrarium we have finished with a perspex disk on top instead of our traditional corks, this ensures your Terrarium looks just as beautiful if viewed from above!

Due to the wide opening in the top of the Cylinder this is a perfect Terrarium to get in and trim and maintain if you fancy a bit of miniature gardening.

Your closed glass Terrarium is planted by hand in our London studio with a mix of fittonia, ferns with a wall and bed of bun and carpet moss. Closed glass Terrariums are self-sufficient and require minimal care.

Description

Each terrarium we build is completely unique, the Medium Dome provides the perfect landscaping opportunity. Undulating bun moss hills will be planted next to a mixture of Fittonia, Ferns, Ivy and then finished with a careful placing of decorative stones.

If you have any specific planting requirements we will be more than happy to help!

Care

Make sure to keep your terrarium out of any direct sun or direct heat and require little to no watering.

In their closed eco-system, the plants become self-sustaining as the glass stops any of the humidity created from escaping keeping the plants nourished and happy.
