Chase Distillery x London Terrariums

It’s a new year, and many of you will be starting this one with a dry January after an indulgent festive time. While everyone was sipping their December drinks we were knee deep in compost, working on an exciting project with Chase Distillery—turning their empty Vodka bottles into Terrariums, helping to bring the countryside into homes this winter.

The project began with us planting up 50 empty bottles with our signature Terrarium plants—Fittonia, Ivy, and Asparagus Ferns, as well as plenty of moss and some decorative stones to top them off. Once finished, these were sent out to press and influencers, and as a special gift for customers who purchased bottles of Chase Gin and Vodka in December.

How it started....

I then spent the day with award winning landscape Architect, Tom Massey, creating content for Chase’s social, introducing Terrariums to their audience and helping people engage with recycling: turning their old bottles into indoor gardens rather than just throwing them away.

To coincide with the launch of the Vodka Bottle Terrariums, we worked with Chase to host one of our workshops for press and influencers of the gardening and wellness world, including Michael Perry (Mr Plant Geek) and James Barley. We also welcomed a mixologist into the studio to make everyone cocktails as they arrived and throughout the evening as they made their Chase Terrariums!
