We invite you to join us for our new Moss Wall Terrarium Workshop!
Recently we have been loving creating our Moss Wall terrariums so we have just launchd our new workshops so that you can come and learn how to make your own.
This workshop can bee for returning customers looking to further their terrariums skills as well as new terrarium enthusiasts, we will still guide you through every step of the process.
First we will walk you through making a clay wall in your vessel, to this you can add moss and bark to create a living wall as well slate if desired to make your own slate steps, after it is time to stand your terrarium upright to plant the base layer.
This workshop will focus more on moss, ferns and hardscaping however Fittonia and other terrarium plants will also be available.
You will be using a glass cylinder vessel (20cm x 15cm) with a circular perspex lid.
We will start the workshop with an introduction into the history and science behind Terrariums, followed by a demo and then the rest of the session is up to you to get stuck in and make your own to take home and watch grow!
The workshop will last approximately 2 hours, slightly longer than our usual class, please arrive on time and get in touch if you're running late!
If two people would like to attend and make ONE terrarium between them then please select the 'bring a plus one' ticket to allocate the second seat.
Accessibility: Our workshops take place downstairs accessed by a spiral staircase and you will be seated throughout. If you have any needs regarding accessibility please let us know and we can adjust to your requirements.
