Over two years before the opening of the show, we were approached by the exhibition department of the V&A Museum to create a large Terrarium installation to compliment the dress at the top of the main staircase in the iconic Fashion Gallery.

There were many challenges to this project, most pressing the terrariums were going to be living in the gallery for well over a year without any natural light.

Working with lighting technicians and engineers at The V&A, we created a way to fit LED bulbs into the corks of the Terrariums, meaning the plants would be receiving the wavelengths of light to keep them healthy and thriving. We ended up planting and exhibiting 12 Antique Carboy and Demijohn Terrariums
